Payne and Hefner Named Best Lawyers, Hefner Named Super Lawyer

ELG attorneys Jim Payne and Bill Hefner have again been chosen by their peers for inclusion on the list of The Best Lawyers in America® for 2019 in the area of Environmental Law.  First published in 1983, Best Lawyers employs an exhaustive annual peer-review survey of more than 50,000 attorneys who vote on the legal abilities of other lawyers practicing in the same and related specialties in their geographical area.

Bill also has been selected for inclusion in the 2018 list of Minnesota Super Lawyers.  Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of attorneys from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The Minnesota Super Lawyers list is published online and locally in Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, Twin Cities Business and the Minnesota version of Super Lawyers Magazine.

Jim and Bill are grateful to be selected by their peers in the Minnesota environmental bar for these honors.

Hefner Recognized as 2017 MSBA North Star Lawyer

CLC also represents foster children who request help. Bill has been a volunteer CLC attorney since 2004.
